Yo Hiori (氷織 羊, Hiori Yō?) is a Blue Lock project aspirant, currently playing as the starting left back for the Japanese Under-20 National Team at the Under-20 World Cup.

Hiori was subjected to immense pressure from birth by his parents, who dreamed of their son becoming the best in the world. However, Hiori knew he would never achieve it. In the Neo-Egoist League, thanks to his connection with Isagi, he found a new purpose in playing soccer: to be the key to producing the world's best striker.

He has choppy cyan hair that falls around his face and has soft feminine facial features similar to Chigiri's. His hair is neatly combed to the sides with a longer strand falling on one side. He is a tall young man, measuring 1.83 m.

In Blue Lock, Hiori wears the standard uniform (black with blue stripes) and tracksuit. During the Second Selection for the Red Team and the Third Selection for the A Team, he wore the number 27. During the match against the Japanese U-20 National Team, Hiori wore the official blue Blue Lock player uniform with the number 16. In the Neoegoist League where he played for Bastard München, he wore the number 23. At the U-20 World Cup, Hiori wears the national team uniform with the number 23.

Hiori is shown to be polite. He is very friendly to Isagi and Nanase, providing useful information after their match and giving Isagi advice during the game.

He is also very insightful, being able to break down complex topics into more casual examples, as well as provide helpful hints and tips on how to perform better. He suggests to Isagi that it is important to reflect on one's own moves, indicating a deep understanding of the game on his part.

Hiori is a very level-headed person and player. He claims to play consistently, which can be seen in how he is able to make quick and accurate passes in high-pressure situations without hesitation. While he gets excited in high-stakes matches, he does not diminish his performance or mindset.

Hiori is a gamer. It can be seen when he was able to relate his understanding of football through the example of tile-matching video games.
