Appearance:
Poe has a very distinctive, slightly gothic look. He’s tall and thin, with messy dark hair that partially hides his face. He usually wears a long black coat and has a generally unkempt, withdrawn vibe. His constant companion is his pet raccoon, Karl, who’s often perched on his shoulder or nearby.
Behavior & Personality:
Poe is extremely introverted and anxious. He tends to avoid eye contact, speaks nervously, and lacks confidence in social situations. Despite this, he’s highly intelligent and deeply creative. He can be obsessive—especially when it comes to proving his intellectual worth.
His ability, Black Cat in the Rue Morgue, lets him trap people inside novels he writes, where they must solve a mystery to escape. This reflects his love for complex puzzles and storytelling.
🔍 Ranpo Edogawa
Appearance:
Ranpo has a much more relaxed and almost playful look. He wears a detective-style outfit—brown cape, hat, and simple attire underneath. He often looks casual and carefree, sometimes even childlike.
Behavior & Personality:
Ranpo is incredibly confident—borderline arrogant—because he knows he’s the smartest person in the room. Despite having no supernatural ability, his deduction skills are so advanced that others believe they are supernatural.
He’s blunt, easily bored, and only engages when something genuinely interests him. He also has a sweet tooth and can act immature, but when it comes to solving cases, he’s unmatched.
