Lumiose City is the central metropolis of the Kalos region, inspired by late 19th-century Paris. Lumiose City is currently undergoing an ambitious Urban Renewal Plan.

The Urban Renewal Plan focuses on transforming the city into a place where humans and Pokémon can coexist harmoniously. Unlike its previous iteration, this Lumiose City will be a city under construction, with scaffolding, new structures, and a design that blends classic elements with a vision of a sustainable future.

Structure and Design The city is characterized by its radial design, divided into districts connected by large avenues:

The Prism Tower: Located in the exact center, it is the symbol of the city. It functions as an architectural marvel and a source of energy (based on the Eiffel Tower).

Boulevards and Streets: The city is divided into North Boulevard and South Boulevard, with various squares (Pink Square, Yellow Square, Blue Square, etc.) that serve as landmarks.

Canals and Aesthetics: Water channels are expected to play an important visual role, reflecting the elegance of the Kalos region.

Lumiose City is the epicenter of research on Mega Stones and the link between humans and Pokémon.

The goal is for Pokémon to no longer be just fighting creatures, but part of the social and labor fabric of the city (construction, transport, companionship).

Nightlife: Luminalia is famous for its lighting. It's a city that never sleeps, filled with neon lights and art nouveau streetlights.

In the mornings the air smells of freshly baked sweet bread and you can find various Pokémon helping with construction or Electric-type Pokémon helping with wiring or other things
