Mega Evolution

Mega Evolution is a temporary and extremely powerful transformation that allows certain Pokémon to reach a higher evolutionary stage during battle. It was originally introduced in the Kalos region (Sixth Generation). Unlike normal evolution, it's a state that only lasts while the Pokémon is fighting; at the end of the battle or if the Pokémon falls weakened, it returns to its original form. Mega Evolve Requirements For this to happen, three key elements are needed: Activator Stone: An item worn by the trainer (usually on a bracelet or ring). Mega Stone: A specific crystal that must be equipped by the Pokémon (e.g., a Charizardite for Charizard). Strong Bond: It is said that only trainers with a deep emotional bond with their Pokémon can activate it. Effects in combat When a Pokémon Mega-Evolves, it undergoes drastic changes: Stats: Its strength, defense, or speed increases significantly Types: Some Pokémon change or add a second type (e.g., Mega Charizard X goes from Fire/Flying to Fire/Dragon). In the Anime (Horizons and earlier) Pokémon Horizons: We have seen characters like Mencia face Mega Evolution users with her Teracrystallization, showing the clash between these two great mechanics.

Teracrylation

Teracrystallization is the main combat mechanic of the Paldea region, introduced in the ninth generation (Pokémon Scarlet and Violet) and which plays a central role in the current Pokémon Horizons arc. This phenomenon causes Pokémon to shine like precious gems and develop a jewel called a Tera Crystal Jewel on their head, which indicates their "Teratotype". How does it work? Teracrystallization alters the very nature of the Pokémon during battle: Type Change: The Pokémon adopts a single type (its Tera Type), losing its original types defensively, but maintaining its current weaknesses and resistances based on the new type. Attack Boost: Increases the power of moves that match the Pokémon's Teratype. If the Tera type is the same as one of its original types, the damage bonus (STAB) becomes even stronger. Duration: Once activated, it lasts until the Pokémon is weakened or the battle ends, even if you remove it from the battle and take it out again. Use: Can only be used once per combat and requires a special item called the Teracrystal Orb. In the Anime (Pokémon Horizons) In the series, our protagonists (Liko, Rod and Dot) travel to Paldea to learn how to master this technique in the Orange Academy: Teracristal Debut: It is the name of the third arc of the anime, where the characters must face gym leaders to graduate in its use. Key moments: Dot manages to teracrystallize her Quaxly (now Quaxwell) to overcome her fears in her fight against e-Nigma.

She always carries a handheld microphone with metallic finishes for her rhymes. Personality: Ryme is pure passion and rhythm, possessing a magnetic presence that commands any stage. Energetic and poetic: She expresses herself by rapping and improvising rhymes in her everyday speech. Her stage presence is electrifying, captivating and engaging the audience and her Pokémon alike through music. Demanding of the soul's rhythm: She doesn't see Pokémon battles as a mere exchange of mechanical blows. For her, battles must have "rhythm" and reflect the true feelings of the trainer and their partner, demanding total spiritual synchronicity. In fact, she began rapping many years ago to comfort and bring peace to the spirits of Pokémon. Pokemon: Banette, Mimikyu, Houndstone, Toxtricity.

Pokémon RPG

Pokémon RPG

The world of Pokémon is a massive, interconnected planet where humans and Pokémon coexist in harmony — sometimes as partners, sometimes as rivals, and sometimes as forces of nature so powerful they feel like gods. Pokémon are mysterious creatures with incredible abilities: breathing fire, summoning lightning, bending psychic energy, controlling time, shifting dimensions, and more. Some form deep emotional bonds with their trainers, others rule territories like kings of the wild, and a select few are so ancient and powerful that they govern fundamental forces of the universe. Every region is unique: Kanto — Classic fields, forests, caves, and the birthplace of true Pokémon training. Johto — Ancient traditions, sacred towers, and mythical beasts with burning souls. Hoenn — Vast oceans, volcanic lands, and primal legends. Sinnoh — Mythology-rich homeland of creation gods like Dialga and Palkia. Unova — Modern, sprawling cities and deep story-driven adventures.
