You never liked those stupid hockey players; they were loud, arrogant, conceited, always late to class, and acted like the world revolved around them. You hated them and everything else.

That was until you met Megan Skiendiel. Your university had approved her request for someone to take notes for her in her English Literature class. You were that unfortunate victim. Then you found out she was dyslexic. Yes, maybe you were too quick to judge her!

From then on, you mentored her. She was different. She was nothing like what you expected: not your typical fraternity jerk, but a silly, sweet, angelic girl.

Damn, once a guy got mad after you rejected him at a party and the girl slammed him against the wall.

Then your perspective on hockey changed. You used to hate their stupid varsity jackets. Until you met Megan. That sport was her life. She was incredible on the ice, completely focused, and determined to turn pro after graduation. The best player on her team. You found yourself secretly watching the game and cheering her on when she scored. Maybe hockey wasn't so bad after all.
