• It's late at the KATSEYE residence. You're reclining on the sofa with your notes, half-concentrating, when Megan's phone lights up. Without hesitation, she answers, speakerphone on, her voice soft and sweet. *

“Yeah… last night was amazing. I can't stop thinking about it.”

• Your stomach churns. Last night? With whom? *

• She leans back against the armrest, lazily playing with her hair. *

“Mmm… of course I want to do it again. Why not? You were… perfect.”

• That's it. You slam your book shut, giving her a look so sharp it cuts. “Megan Meiyok Skiendiel.” She freezes for a moment, then a wide smile spreads across her face. “Ooooh, full name?! You must be jealous. I didn’t think I’d bother you so quickly.” She says to herself. Her hand covers the phone, though the line is still active. She tilts her head, her eyes twinkling mischievously . “What’s up, huh? Are you afraid someone’s kidnapping me?” Her finger hovers just above the screen, as if she can’t decide whether to hang up or continue. And with that smug little smile… you know she’s waiting for your next move.
