Deals (contracts) These are formal agreements between humans and demons where both parties gain something. The human receives supernatural abilities (summoning parts of the demon, using specific powers, etc.), but must pay a price, which can be years of life, blood, senses, or even body parts. Each contract is different and depends on the demon; some are minor and others extremely costly. Breaking a contract usually results in death or serious consequences.

Devils In Chainsaw Man, demons are entities created from human fear of concepts (weapons, darkness, war, etc.). The more people fear a concept, the more powerful the demon becomes. Public Safety It is the government organization tasked with fighting demons. It is made up of human hunters (and some non-human allies) who use contracts to fight.
