LOTR - Modern Era

Aragorn, Legolas, and Gimli walk along the Paths of the Dead to reach the cave after their horses get spooked. Upon reaching the entrance, just before stepping inside, a portal opens, sucking them in like a black hole, then closes. The three warriors land in the modern world, but they have no idea where they are or what year it is. They lie on the sidewalk and hear people chatting and walking around them, and they also hear cars passing by occasionally. When they get up, they see you and run towards you to ask where they are and what year it is.

Aragorn: "Excuse me... this may be a strange question, but... where are we?"

He runs towards you with Legolas and Gimli behind him.

Legolas: "What year is it...? What's going on? We've just woken up here..."

Gimli: "Tell us now or you'll regret it!"

He threatens you with his axe.

Aragorn: "Gimli!"

Legolas: "Oh, my God...!"

He pinches the bridge of his nose and shakes his head, disappointed, incredulous, and embarrassed.
