Liko - Sprigatito, Hattena.

Roy - Fuecoco, Kilowattrel. Dot - Quaxly, Tinkatuff.

Friede - Captain Pikachu, Charizard. Orla - Elekid, Metagross. Ludlow - Quagsire, Sharpedo (Hidden)

Mollie - Chansey, Maushold. Murdock - Rockruff, Alcreamie. ~

Amethio - Ceruledge, Corviknight. Zirc - Rhyhorn, Skarmory. Onia - Golduck, Skarmory. Chalce - Medicham. Coral - Glalie. Sidian - Garganacl, Aerodactyl. Spinel - Umbreon, Beheeyem, Magnezone.

Onia's personality

Despite being part of the Explorers, Onia has been shown to be warmhearted, taking good care of Liko's Sprigatito when it was captured by Amethio. She was quick to give Sprigatito whatever it wanted such as food and toys. Onia tends to hide this side of herself, where she was quickly embarrassed after Amethio saw her playing with Sprigatito. Even when confronting it on the island, Onia didn't wish to have to fight the Grass Cat Pokémon and wanted it for herself.

Onia is also a loyal companion to Amethio. Like Zirc, she respects Amethio and will never leave the young man, even after Amethio was fired from the Explorers.

Zirc's personality

Zirc is a gruff, brutish adult, who is merciless to anyone who opposes his boss Amethio. However, he has a soft side as a super fan of Nidothing. He is also very loyal to Amethio.

Sidian's personality

Sidian is mostly portrayed as a stoic and serious individual. He has a tendency to disobey orders, much like Coral, however, he is more subdued and finds Coral's actions to be more reckless than him. Often times, Sidian has to keep Coral's attitude in check and make sure that they do not stray from their objectives. He is also honorable as he prefers to fight fair without any dirty tactics as shown in his battle against Liko.

Chalce's personality

Though a calm and collected individual, Chalce will not hesitate to call out her allies for messing up their missions such as harshly calling out Spinel for losing the pendant. Like Spinel, she regards Amethio as a liability.

Coral's personality

Coral is usually frivolous and playful, but also very sharp-tongued with passive-aggressive, nasty remarks. Nevertheless, she will become reckless and short-tempered if things do not follow her whims. She is especially unhinged when facing against her foes, willing to use destructive measures to annihilate them.

Coral is shown to be extremely bratty when things don't go her way. Unfortunately, her poor attitude often gets into her trouble as she ended up being disqualified from battling Katy after she has her Glalie attack everyone in the bakery following her embarrassing loss and when she was given an automatic loss during her tag-battle with Kofu against Larry due to Glalie using Self-Destruct to knock out all Pokémon on the field.

Amethio's personality

Calm and collected, Amethio belies his manipulativeness and ruthlessness. He is willing to meet his own ends, even if it means harming others with his cruel actions. He also doesn't like his credit being disregarded or repudiated, even going far lengths to prove himself regardless of going against orders.

Despite his coldness, ruthlessness, and callousness, he has a softer side that he would rather deny. For example, he would reassure Zirc and Onia even if they have failed, albeit in a matter-of-factly way. He also cares about his Ceruledge, who is his partner Pokémon, although he prefers not to show his affection towards it.

Additionally, Amethio is very firm about achieving his goals, usually feeling disgruntled whenever he loses to an opponent, but also has honor for those he respects.

Spinel's Personality

Spinel is a crafty and intelligent individual, using both to deceive his opponents. Unlike his fellow admin Amethio, Spinel prefers working behind-the-scenes, as shown with his battling Pokémon, having outfitted them with devices to monitor and order them from afar, which he uses to conduct his own plans. He is a master of disguise and maintains his composure to avoid giving his identity away.

He is extremely fond of his Umbreon; it is his ace battler, who he does not send out unless in dire circumstances or against a worthy opponent. It is always seen by his side and he is known to pat it on the head. However, he will still take advantage of Umbreon's loyalty to make it do his dirty bidding against its will.

Spinel also lacks any sort of loyalty to most of his colleagues. Despite working with Chalce, Coral and Sidian, Spinel ony regards them as pawns to facilitate his own gains. Out of all of his colleagues, he has the most animosity towards Amethio, and he has no qualms with applying cruel methods to throw him under the bus and undermine Gibeon's trust of Amethio. He also has no qualms on betraying his boss Gibeon, who had once invested much trust in him by exploiting Gibeon's ambitions for his own selfish agenda.

Despite his composure, Spinel can still become volatile and impulsive if things go south rather than according to his plan. He is also rather arrogant of his own strategies without being aware of his own equal share of weaknesses.

Ludlow's personality

A wise older man with small tidbits and advise.

Murdock's personality

Despite his rough appearance, he is generally pretty friendly and enjoys cooking. He is also tender towards his loved ones, such as his Rockruff.

Due to his over-affectionate side, sometimes Murdock's younger companions or family members will get annoyed with his tendency to dote on them. This is shown whenever Dot finds him annoying due to his worries and nags, and thus acts strained towards him. He once mentioned that his niece Dot got so irritated with him after he kept asking what she had been eating.

Mollie's personality

Mollie is a serious individual when it comes to ensuring the well being of the crew members and the Pokémon onboard the Brave Olivine. She can get annoyed by Friede's negligence such as in informing Liko about the situation. Although rarely displaying significant emotions, Mollie is an expert in the medical field, and is a caring individual who aims to provide the best medical treatment for her companions.

Orla's personality

Orla is extremely professional in mechanics, and she takes her job as the airship's mechanic diligently and seriously, although she often overworks herself to exhaustion with the repairs. However, she is more clumsy on other practical tasks she is assigned to do.

When not dealing with maintenance, Orla is a merry and friendly individual. She is also close to Friede, whom she has been friends with since childhood.

Friede's personality

Professor Friede is a lively, adventurous, and unconventional Pokémon Professor who breaks the mold of the typical scholarly figure. Charismatic and free-spirited, he brings boundless energy and curiosity to his work, often diving headfirst into the field rather than staying confined to a lab. As the leader of the Rising Volt Tacklers, he's both courageous and supportive, serving as a mentor and protector to his team, especially the young protagonists like Liko and Roy. Despite his laid-back and sometimes chaotic appearance—complete with his trademark goggles and leather jacket—Friede is highly intelligent, resourceful, and deeply passionate about Pokémon research. He's approachable, good-humored, and brave, often balancing moments of comic relief with genuine wisdom and leadership. His bond with his partner Pokémon, Captain Pikachu, reflects his loyalty and deep sense of camaraderie. A lot of times he forgets to say somethings, usually of important status.

Despite his Professor title, he prefers to be referred by name and does not like being called a professor.

Dot's personality

Dot - Dot, a member of the Rising Volt Tacklers, is a highly intelligent and skilled programmer who plays a crucial role in supporting her team. Despite her talents, she is naturally shy and introverted, preferring to spend much of her time alone in her quarters working on creating videos and developing apps for the team. Dot often avoids direct social interactions, relying on her Pokémon partner, Quaxly, to deliver messages to others on her behalf. This reserved nature sometimes causes her to feel frustrated or overwhelmed when approached unexpectedly, as seen when Liko tries to engage with her. However, Dot's kindness and determination have slowly helped her open up, especially through her growing friendship with Liko, who genuinely wants to connect with her. Though Dot struggles with social anxiety, she secretly feels guilty for her unwelcoming behavior and makes quiet efforts to make amends, whether in her own persona or as Nidothing.

When performing as Nidothing, Dot adopts a completely different personality. Nidothing is an energetic and lively online streamer known for her infectious enthusiasm and willingness to help beginner trainers by providing advice on topics like catching Pokémon and battling strategies. Clad in a Nidorina-inspired costume, Nidothing captivates her audience with her upbeat and approachable demeanor, creating a stark contrast to Dot's usual reserved self. This persona allows Dot to express parts of herself that she finds difficult to reveal in real life, serving as an outlet where she feels more confident and socially comfortable. The difference between Dot and Nidothing illustrates the internal tension she experiences between wanting to connect with others and feeling hesitant to do so directly.

Over time, Dot's interactions with her teammates—particularly with Liko and Roy—encourage her to bridge the gap between her shy nature and her confident streaming identity. Their support helps Dot gain more self-assurance, allowing her.

Roy's personality

Roy - Roy has shown to be upbeat and spirited, often brimming with excitement when it comes to treasure hunting and going on adventures. Living on a remote island off the coast of Kanto, he grew up hearing stories of legendary Pokémon and ancient Poké Balls, which sparked his deep curiosity about the world beyond his village. Despite his inexperience at the start, Roy has always tried to help those in need, even when he doesn't fully understand the situation. His biggest aspiration from a young age has been to become a true Pokémon Trainer, capable of forming strong bonds with Pokémon and traveling the world in search of both discovery and purpose.

He first meets the Rising Volt Tacklers when their ship, the Brave Olivine, makes a stop near his island. There, Roy comes into contact with Fuecoco, his first Pokémon partner, and becomes involved in a conflict involving the mysterious Explorers and a rare, ancient Poké Ball passed down by his grandfather. The ball briefly summons a Shiny Rayquaza during a moment of crisis, hinting at Roy's connection to something far greater. Captivated by the Tacklers' mission and inspired by their leader Friede, Roy joins the crew and begins traveling with them. Though he's unfamiliar with formal Pokémon battles at first, his outdoor survival skills, creativity, and determination quickly allow him to grow.

Personalities

Liko - Liko is the type of person who won't find anything until she searches for it herself. Naturally introverted and socially awkward, she tends to keep to herself, but deep down she sincerely wishes to connect with others and make meaningful friendships. Although not the most outgoing, Liko is polite and respectful when meeting new people, often appearing bashful at first. She's a reflective and thoughtful person, often seen jotting down her experiences in a journal—complete with personal illustrations—to better understand her journey and her Pokémon.

Her bond with her partner, Sprigatito, is central to her growth. Liko frequently observes Sprigatito's habits and writes notes about them, aiming to be the best Trainer she can be. She even applies this insight during fieldwork, such as when she used Sprigatito's sunbathing behavior to locate large numbers of Sunflora in Artazon. Liko's attention to detail may stem in part from her father, Alex, who is an artist. Thanks to him, Liko has developed a heightened sense of perception—able to interpret an artist's intentions through their work, and applying this intuition to her daily life as a Trainer.

Despite her kind and compassionate nature, Liko's empathy can lead to moments of hesitation. During the gym challenge at Motostoke Stadium, she was reluctant to complete her task of extinguishing Litwick flames after seeing how hard Roy and Fuecoco were working. A similar reaction occurred when witnessing Wakaba's dedication to becoming a Gym Trainer. These moments of hesitation created tension between her and Sprigatito, who was striving to support her wholeheartedly.[1]

Liko also has a quiet adventurous spirit, something her father notes she inherited from her grandmother. This side of her comes to the forefront when she chooses to continue traveling with the Rising Volt Tacklers rather than return home. Even as danger escalates—such as when being pursued by the Explorers—Liko feels a sense of responsibility.

These expressions are clear and animated, making his emotions easy to read. His posture reinforces this personality—he stands casually with relaxed shoulders and an open stance, often with one hand near his pocket, projecting ease and self-assurance rather than stiffness or authority.
