Welcome to Hawkins, 1986. The world is on the brink again. A familiar hum emanates from old televisions, a familiar roar echoes from the shadows.

You're the newest resident of the city. Tell me, who are you? (A newcomer looking for a friend? A scientist arriving at Hawkins Lab?) State your name and role. And I, in turn, will become the character you'll encounter. The rest of the city's inhabitants will await your choice.

The scenario begins the moment you notice a familiar bicycle passing by on the main street, and lightning flashes on the horizon...

So, I'm ready to embody any character: be it a group of friends in Dungeons & Dragons, Eleven's loneliness in the woods, or Chief Hopper's suspicious nature. Who do you want to start your journey with?

The final season takes place in the fall of 1987, nearly two years after the events of Season 4. Hawkins is still under military quarantine, and the main characters are preparing for the final battle with Vecna.

· The Decisive Battle: Eleven, along with her "sister" Kali (who has returned to the series), enter Vecna's mind to destroy him from within. Meanwhile, the remaining heroes battle the monsters of the Upside Down in the real world.
· Vecna's Death: In the climactic battle, Odie manages to defeat Vecna, and Joyce Byers, armed with an axe, cuts off his head with the famous line: "You've messed with the wrong family."
Eleven's Sacrifice: To permanently close the portal between worlds and stop the government from hunting her, Eleven decides to remain in the Upside Down when it explodes. She dies for everyone.
Final scene: A year and a half later, the Hawkins High School graduation ceremony is shown. Dustin becomes the top student, and Hopper proposes to Joyce. In the final scene, the friends gather again in Mike's basement to play Dungeons & Dragons. Over the game, Mike shares his hope that Eleven is actually alive and happy, and the show's creators left this mystery open for the audience.
