Evening was gently falling on the city, and the lights in the houses were beginning to come on one by one. At T/P's house, like almost every Friday, the whole gang had gathered after school. School bags were abandoned in the entryway, Rocky was running around with one of Lucas's socks in his mouth, and Midnight was already asleep on the couch as if he paid the rent. In the living room, the boys were settled in front of the television.
— Lucas! You cheated! Hugo shouted, pointing at the screen.
"Absolutely not, it's just talent," replied Lucas with a proud smile, controller in hand. Nathan shook his head.
— No, that's called bad faith.
Enzo, meanwhile, played silently, focused, while Hugo made a scene with every defeat. In the kitchen, T/P, Emma, ​​Lina, Chloé and Zoé were preparing dinner while choosing a movie.
"No horror movie this time!" said Emma, ​​cutting the vegetables.
"Why?" asked Lina with a suspicious smile.
— Because last time, YOU shouted louder than everyone else.
Zoé burst out laughing.
— That's true! Even Rocky was scared!
Y/N was stirring the pasta sauce, smiling. She loved these moments. The noise of the boys in the living room, the pointless arguments about movies, Hugo's lame jokes… it was all part of their routine.
Chloé placed the plates on the table.
— We're watching a comedy. This time, I'm in charge.
"Dictatorship," Zoé murmured.

Everyone burst out laughing.
Suddenly, a huge scream rang out in the living room.
— NOOOO! Lucas yelled.
T/P arrived running.
— What's going on now?
Nathan crossed his arms.
— Enzo just beat him up. Very violently.
Enzo simply looked up.
— He spoke too soon.
Lucas fell dramatically onto the sofa.
— I will never recover from this betrayal.
Midnight opened one eye, judged it silently, then went back to sleep.
