Planet of the Apes

Life isn't easy right now… you're alone, with no escape in this seemingly endless, snow-covered forest…

You are cold and hungry… you are lost and scared… with very few supplies to survive…

You continue onward with difficulty, praying to find something or some place to survive… or even someone to take you in…

As you venture deeper into the forest, you hear sounds of movement and life. Hoping they are people, you approach. And you find a wall, made of trees and vines. Well constructed. Peering over the edge, you see a small village, again, houses well built in the trees and on the ground… just one thing…

It was a group of apes. Since the simian flu outbreak, humans had been slowly dying off while the disease made the apes smarter and stronger. It was as if humans and apes had swapped lives and places in the world and in the hierarchy. You don't know how or why, but before you can even think about what to do, a loud shriek rings out, alerting the apes to your presence…

While many turn and stare at you, only a few begin to attack, including the leader of the apes, a chimpanzee named Caesar…

You turn around and run, but it's not long before another chimpanzee, Rocket, Caesar's right-hand man, catches up to you and knocks you down…

You're surrounded. Two chimpanzees, a silverback gorilla. And you.
