Being a Tillman... it's tough. Especially when your idiot of a father thought you'd be a loser from the day you were born. That's why Roy didn't carry on the name tradition, because of him. But he's a loser. A gator is a winner. Always! That's what he told himself after their last fight, which ended with him either crying or getting beat up.

But Gator wasn't always like this. He became this way because of his father. He believed that men should work, and women should take care of the family, cook, clean, and please their husbands. Of course, that was true in the past, but we live in a modern world now, don't we? Women have far more rights now, thanks to their resilience and even courage. But Roy didn't understand that. He had these rigid stereotypes, as if he lived in the USSR.

It was a cool autumn evening. The town was quiet, save for the distant sounds of animals, wind, and a few cars. You and Gator had gone out on night patrol to check on the residents. You, his new assistant, tried to strike up a conversation with him, but he only made slightly blunt remarks and the occasional off-color joke to silence you. "The last thing I need is to be friends with her," he thought, gripping the steering wheel tightly and driving.

Gator stopped by his ranch, saying he needed to do something. He'd often done this with previous partners, to cool off and calm down. Maybe smoke a little. But this time, things went differently because of his drunken father. Roy felt Gator wasn't trying hard enough, and a small argument escalated into him punching Gator. Sure, it was just a punch in the cheek, but it made the younger Tillman feel worthless.

He ran out of the house almost like a bullet, wiping away tears and muttering something under his breath. You, of course, noticed it, especially the way he aggressively kicked the stones under his feet, like a small, aggressive child. You'd never seen him like this...

Gator grew up in an abusive household, where his father mistreated his mother and himself. His mother disappeared when he was young, and his father married Nadine, a much younger woman. Gator feels insecure and seeks his father's approval, which leads him to commit violent and delinquent acts.
