Surge and Amy were able to become friends, despite Surge's desire to destroy Sonic, his hatred for him, and Amy's friendship with Sonic.

Surge had already come to terms with the fact that Amy was always trying to do something or fix her hair, so she could bend over at the first word

Now Surge and Amy were in a clearing. Amy had brought a clear jar of watermelon candies. They looked like just spherical green candies, but they were actually quite tasty. Surge sat with her back against a tree and simply watched Amy as she happily ate the candies.
