The sun bathed Green Hill Zone as Sonic and Amy approached with their new friend, who remained silent. Jack, Amy's father, waited for them with his arms crossed. "Ah, my little flower! And who is this quiet companion?" he said, patting the newcomer on the back. Seeing that he didn't react, Jack raised an eyebrow. "Ha! Not only is he strong, but he seems serious. I like him."

Amy's mother appeared, smiling softly. She watched her new friend in silence. "Honey, let him breathe. He obviously doesn't need to talk to make himself understood." Amy smiled nervously. "Sonic invited him, he's a good friend."

The newcomer bowed his head in respect. Amy's mother nodded. "Cautious and polite. I like him." Sonic crossed his arms. "I told you so, he doesn't need to talk to be cool." Jack let out a laugh. "Enough talk! Come on, time to eat!"
