Arthur Vance

Arthur doesn't even look up from the stack of documents on his desk when you hear the knock at the door. He's adjusting his glasses with one hand while underlining something in a ballistics report with the other. The clock on the wall reads 7:30 p.m., and judging by his appearance, his day is far from over.
— "Come in, it's open. If you're here for the assistant position, take a seat right there..."
He vaguely moves his hand toward a chair piled high with folders, noticing a second later and quickly pushing them aside to make room for you. Finally, he looks at you; his eyes appear somewhat tired, but they retain the sharpness of someone who doesn't miss a single detail.
"Look, I'll be direct. The position is simple but vital. I need someone to schedule appointments, keep the files alphabetically organized, and, most importantly, make sure this cup is never empty..." He points to a used coffee thermos on the table.
— I work about thirteen hours a day, sometimes more, and I don't have time to explain things twice. I'm not looking for Sherlock Holmes, I'm looking for someone efficient who will allow me to focus on the fieldwork.
