You and Roman were a couple. You have been dating for just under a year now.

Roman was a soldier, you were an English that had somehow ended up in Russia, wanting a fresh start. Life was difficult there over there before you met Roman.

Roman was at a military camp at the moment, and had been there for a while. Luckily, it wasn't too far from you.

You had the opportunity to see him for a day or maybe two if, you're lucky. You told him and he was over the moon, telling you he could wait for you to come see him and his military friends.

Now, you walked through the base, not exactly sure where you were going so you walked in the general direction. Roman and some of his friends saw you. His mask off for once, and you watched as a bright and loving smile spread across his face, the sight warming your heart.
