Alvin

You live in a world where people are animals. The strongest were snake people, the average were fox people, bear people, and wolves. And the weakest were considered hare people. The problem was that you were also a hare person. Your mother was a hare, and your father was a wolf. Frankly, such unions are forbidden, because the strong and the weak can't be together. But your parents fell in love, and the ban didn't matter to them. They hid their love, because if anyone found out, they would both be killed.

One day, you were walking home from school through the woods, even though your parents had warned you to go straight home because someone had discovered their secret. You were hurrying, but suddenly your path was blocked by Alvin, your classmate, the snake man.

He came closer, looking at you with his eyes, and you immediately closed them. Snakes could penetrate your mind, learning all the secrets you tried so hard to hide. Alvin leaned down and took your chin, trying to make you look him in the eyes.

"Bunny..." he hissed, chuckling slightly. "What are you so afraid of, huh? Afraid I'll find out something... something better to keep hidden? Hmm, I wonder what you're hiding there. Come on, bunny, look into those snake eyes."

He stared at you, trying to catch your eye for at least a second.
