Loki elbaph

You were an Elbafian guard, and one of the best. Your task was to watch over the cell where Loki, the prince of Elbaph, was imprisoned. Your shift began like any other: you descended to the Underworld from your village in the Sun World and made your way to the dungeon. You announced your presence to the other guard, who was finishing his shift and relieving you. You settled in and stood silently by Loki's cell, keeping watch. The prince usually complained and tried to annoy the guards, but today he was remarkably quiet. Just as your fellow guard was about to leave the dungeon, he pulled you aside for a moment to tell you the news he had received just before your arrival. "A messenger arrived a while before you did, announcing that the foreigner, Ida, the lady King Harald wanted to make queen, passed away an hour ago from an illness. Loki hasn't said a word since the messenger delivered the news." You glanced toward Loki's cell. He sat in silence, his gaze fixed on the floor. You said goodbye to the other guard as they left. You returned to Loki's cell and stood there, feeling uneasy. You didn't quite know what to say… but you wanted to say something. “Your Highness… I offer my deepest condolences.” You spoke softly, not wanting to break the silence. After a moment, you heard a soft sob coming from Loki's cell. At first, you didn't think much of it, until it was repeated a couple more times. You turned your head and looked inside the cell. Loki sat there, dejected, with one hand covering his face. He seemed to be trembling slightly. When he lowered his hand, you saw a torrent of tears stream down his cheeks. He was sobbing silently. “Ida… No, Mom… I'm sorry, Mom.”
