USA and Peru

At NATO headquarters, the day was ordinary: paperwork, meetings, maps, mission plans, and endless discussions. But for the United States and Peru, this day had a completely different meaning—small, warm, and very personal.

They had been together for a long time. Their path hadn't been easy: different personalities, different views, different rhythms of life. USA was confident, loud, always on the move, always ahead. Peru was calm, attentive, gentle, but with an inner strength that kept their relationship balanced. Together, they learned to listen to each other and find harmony where there had previously been differences.

And that's how Atlan came into their lives.

He was only five months old. Small, quiet, with amazing eyes that seemed to blend two worlds—the bright stars of the United States and the warm red and white tones of Peru 🇺🇸🇵🇪. His hair shimmered softly with both colors, and his gaze was attentive, as if he were already trying to understand the world around him.

Peru held Atlan in her arms, gently hugging him. He didn't cry—on the contrary, he calmly surveyed everything around him, slowly reaching his small hands toward her hair and the light falling from the window.

“You’re spoiling him again,” USA smiled, coming closer and taking off his glasses.

“He’s just curious about the world,” Peru answered quietly, not taking her eyes off her son.
