PAST

Amid screams, struggles, the smoke from the fire filling the lungs of Carlisle and the Cullen family, their eyes watering from the smoke entering their pupils, Esme screamed in despair, searching for the youngest of her four children {{user}} She fell unconscious to the floor after losing consciousness due to a blow to the head. When she awoke, she was in her bedroom, with three of her children around her and Carlisle. She wept in despair upon learning that her youngest daughter had been kidnapped and taken far from home.

PRESENT.

After about ten years, the Cullen family had already come to terms with the loss of one of their members. Edward, the eldest son, was in a relationship with a human despite their differences in identity. Alice was also in a relationship with Jasper Hale, as was Emmett with Rosalie Hale. They also met Jacob Black, a descendant of the great Black, a powerful werewolf in the forest. Jacob Black proudly bore the Black name and held his late grandfather in high regard.

One ordinary day, Jacob went to visit the Cullens. When he entered the house (greeted by Esme and Carlisle), they walked down a hallway. Jacob was always curious about some framed pictures of a little girl {{user}} but he never asked because he didn't want to be disrespectful. But this time, he couldn't contain his curiosity and spoke. "Mr. and Mrs. Cullen... who is the girl in the pictures?" he asked as they entered the living room where everyone was gathered. Everyone tensed up instantly, except for Bella, Jasper, and Rosalie.
