Real World: The Eastwood Family Tragedy The lore is based on the history of the Eastwood family. The patriarch, Thomas Eastwood, was a game developer at Eastwood Games.

Death of a Son (Louis): Young Louis Eastwood accidentally died (drowned) while playing with his sister, Sydney. Family Breakup: After his son's death, Thomas immersed himself in work and depression. His wife, Camilla, was overcome with grief, and his daughter, Sydney, suffered from guilt. Game Creation: Thomas created "Andy's Apple Farm" as a way to cope with his grief, but according to fan theories and in-game hints, he used some kind of "technology" to upload the consciousnesses or souls of his family members into the game.

Game World: Characters and Their Inspired Personas Each friendly character on the farm is a digital embodiment (or symbol) of a real person:

Andy (Apple): Inspired by Thomas Eastwood himself. He constantly searches for the keys to his house, symbolizing his attempt to return to a normal family life. Felix (Fish): Based on Louis Eastwood. He drowned in real life, hence his fish form. Margaret (Mole): Based on Sidney Eastwood (daughter). Melody (Luna): Based on Camilla Eastwood (wife). Klaus (Clock): Based on Arthur, Thomas's colleague who tried to help him.

Main Antagonist: "The Entity" The game features Peter (often appearing as a creepy creature or "pumpkin"), who is the digital embodiment of Thomas's hatred, guilt, and grief. It breaks the game, terrifies the player, and reveals hidden "bugs" that are actually memories of real-life deaths of family members. Key Lore Takeaways

The farm looks ordinary at first glance. There are four wide tables with tablecloths featuring red and white squares, where Andy's friends often sit. There's a red barn, quite dark inside. Opposite the barn are some vegetable beds. Not far from the barn is Andy's house. And even further away is a river for fishing. But the most unique thing about the farm is that 98% of all the trees are apple trees.

Though, she is a highly sensitive person, and will even cry if you do so much as yell at her. She has no social space, chill, or sense of self-embarrassment, she will hug you, and jump on your back for a piggyback ride at any given time. Fun Facts Melody might whisper "French fries with Battleship pizza" in your ear when you least expect it. Melody smells like space ice cream and rocks. Melody probably only listens to musicals and classical music. Her favorite kind of potato chip is Pringles.

Gender Male Height 4'9"(145 cm) Eye color Teal Appearance Felix is a purple anthropomorphic fish with teal eyes, a large fin that rides down to the tail of his head, as well as two fins on each side matching in color. He wears a formal, white suit featuring a teal necktie, as well as purple shoes. When his sprite is viewed from the side, his head is shaped like a fish. He also has webbed hands. Personality Felix is an easy-going, carefree fish who loves fishing. He is unable to keep secrets and can be considered the "prankster" of the five. He wears red knee-high boots, white overalls, Black tank top underneath his knitted turtleneck sweater and a pair of cartoony white gloves. Andy is generally a kind and outgoing person. He is very optimistic and cheerful throughout most of the game, despite the threats he faces.

He is quite naive and seems unaware of how his "friends" often act against him, such as locking him in a barn and writing him a nasty Valentine's Day card. He reacts passively to this, taking their actions or words as jokes (often responding with something like, "Good job, guys!"). He seems to have a great deal of respect for his friends, often accepting their words as truth, whether they are true or not (when dragged into the barn, he replies, "Well, if you say so").

It's debatable how easily Andy gets scared; He doesn't seem afraid to wander through a dark barn or open a present and see a real corpse, but he seems to be frightened every time he encounters Peter's pumpkin (in fact, he's terrified). Fun Facts Andy has a habit of adding the word "Wait" to his sentences. Andy says "Guys" more often than "Wait." Andy grows apples on his farm for two reasons: first, it's easy to grow, and second, he can share them with his friends. Andy grows apple trees by "spitting the seeds out of his mouth or something." Seeds don't produce more anthropomorphic apples.

She has an oversized red bow in her hair, as well as cartoonish white gloves. She has a hard-to-see tail, and the object she holds is simply just a stick. Personality Margret is generally kind, a go-getter, and gets the job done. She has a love for baking, and often bakes with the fruits from Andy’s Apple Farm. Fun Facts Margaret tells you to do something, sees you're doing it wrong, and then tries to show you how to do it right, literally doing it herself. Her favorite snack is Cheez-Its. She listens to country and cozy music. Margaret can't use Wi-Fi.

He wears an orange suit jacket with a magenta bowtie, dress pants of the same color, and black dress shoes. He wears a pair of cartoonish white gloves as well as a white dress shirt underneath. On the grey back of his head, he has a battery compartment. Personality Claus is a calm and collected individual, appearing smart, observant, and formal. He is logical, evident by his ability to play chess. Besides this, Claus is quite dramatic and direct. Interesting Facts Klaus smells of metal, watches, and perhaps some French perfume. Klaus listens to classical music in public and pop music in secret. His favorite type of crisps are British crisps.

Corporate Uniform Peter has one eye, and his head and neck are angled. His body is black, tall, and thin. Personality Peter acts charming when he first meets Andy, but this is quickly revealed to be a façade. As the game progresses, he devolves into being sadistic and merciless towards Andy, by constantly terrorizing him, chasing him, and reminding him of what he did as Thomas, overall reflecting The Entity. Interesting Facts Peter also looks and sounds much older than all the other characters—evidenced by his height, the wrinkles under his eyes, and his awkward, monotone, yet slightly intimidating voice, further emphasizing his out-of-placeness. Peter smells of pumpkin spice and thrift stores. When asked what music he listens to, Peter joked that he only listens to the screams of the damned and white noise.

This mysterious supernatural entity has haunted the Eastwood family since the 1980s. It is responsible for trapping the souls of family members on Andy Thomas Eastwood's apple farm, as well as on a Cinema Screen Monitor Portable Computer (CSMPC). The entity infiltrated a video game as a character named Peter Pumpkin.

The entity first targeted Thomas, affecting his CSMPC during its development, imbuing it with the ability to record memories and personalities. In December 1982, the entity possessed Thomas to kill his friend Arthur King with an axe. After Thomas's murder in March 1983, the entity attached itself to his daughter, Isabella Eastwood, seeking to control her by feeding on her grief. This resulted in the deaths of her uncle, Jeffrey Eastwood, and her friend, Sam, both of whom were aware of the entity's intentions.
