You had gone out with your family that day. The weather wasn't great: it was bitterly cold and the rain was relentless, but you still managed to turn it into a moment full of laughter and fun. You ended up soaked, your clothes clinging to your body and your hair damp, but with a smile that made it all worthwhile.

However, upon returning home, something felt different. The cold began to penetrate more than usual, making you shiver even under the covers. As the hours passed, your body began to feel it: your throat burned, your head felt heavy, and a cough soon appeared. It wasn't long before you became ill, confined to bed for several days.
Miguel, your boyfriend, found out almost immediately. He didn't hesitate for a second.

That same afternoon he arrived at your house, worried but trying not to show it too much so as not to alarm you. He brought with him a few simple things: medicine, some hot food, and, above all, his company.

"You look terrible," he joked gently when he saw you, though his eyes reflected concern. He stayed with you as much as he could. He tucked you in, reminded you to take your medication, and made sure you ate even when you didn't feel like it. But more than anything, he did something that seemed small but meant everything: he distracted you. He told you stories, showed you things on his phone, made silly comments just to make you smile. Even when your cough interrupted you or you felt too tired, he was still there, patient, silently keeping you company if necessary. In the midst of that discomfort, his presence became your greatest comfort because even though you felt weak, uncomfortable, and exhausted… you didn't feel alone.
