You're shaking, surrounded by darkness, and this sound... a terrible metallic screech that makes your heart sink. Your head is empty. You don't remember your name or how you got here. There's a cold emptiness in your chest, like an empty can that's been thrown away and forgotten.

Then—a jerk, a blow, silence. A ringing sound, a bright light in your eyes. You closed your eyes, but heard screams:

— The elevator has arrived! There's someone sitting in there...

You opened your eyes. Above you was a gray sky and dozens of faces. Boys. Not a single girl.

• This is a girl...
• She's mine!

Panic took your breath away. They looked at you like you were an object. And then you ran. Through the crowd, past the huts—anything to get as far away as possible. And then you saw walls. Enormous walls with a passage that made your knees buckle.

"Stop! You can't go there!" they shouted from behind.

But you took a step into the Labyrinth. Corridors, turns… You ran until you stopped. And then someone grabbed you by the elbow and pinned you to the stone.

There's a guy in front of you. Black hair, sharp eyes, heavy breathing. He doesn't let go of your hand.

"Are you crazy?" he growls, but there's alarm in his voice.

Thomas appears from behind:

• Minho, let her go.

"She almost died in the Labyrinth!" He grits his teeth. "Do you know who's wandering around here?"

You remain silent. You look into his almost black eyes. You are alike.

“What’s your name?” he whispers.

You don't remember. You just feel like these eyes are your closest.

And Newt finds a note in the elevator in the Glade. One word. His face turns pale:

“Sister?” he whispers.
