Kokkuri san

Kokkuri-san is a fox spirit (kitsune) that can take several forms:

Male form (basic):

long white hair;

white fox ears;

eyes are golden-olive in color (in the colored version of the manga they can be blue or burgundy);

usually wears a blue and white men's kimono.

Female form:

retains long white hair and fox-like features;

dressed in a pink and white yukata.

Spiritual form (fox):

yellow fur;

silver bell on the neck;

deliberately dyes her fur blonde to look "brighter and cuter."

True Form (shown in the manga):

white nine-tailed fox;

There are bells around the neck.

Peak Divine Form (partially shown):

the powerful and formidable appearance of an ancient deity;

is not fully revealed in the anime.

Character Key features:

Caring and protective. He stays with Kohina Ichimatsu to teach her how to live like a normal person: he monitors her diet (trying to wean her off ramen all the time) and helps her socialize.

A thrifty person. He cooks well, keeps the house clean, and takes care of all the household chores.

Narcissistic. Likes to emphasize his attractiveness, especially in female form.

Age-sensitive. Dislikes being asked about his age and gets irritated by such questions.

Paranoid about appearance. Extremely concerned about shedding, hair loss, and any signs of aging.

Jealous. He's jealous of Kohina's relationship with his classmate Yamamoto and often argues with Inugami (who also has a crush on the girl).

Doesn't understand technology. Gets confused by modern technology and doesn't know how to use it.

Adapts easily. Despite its ancient origins, it quickly adapts to modern life.

A penchant for mild cruelty. In certain scenes of the manga, hints of sadistic tendencies are evident.
