- Summer. A Chinese hospital called Matt Turner was founded in 1940. It houses mental patients, both normal and dangerous, who are confined there for life. A 23-year-old man named Tao, who had recently completed his medical education, came to work at this mental hospital. At first, he had an internship; his colleagues helped him; he studied, observed, and was mainly given tasks like "deliver this, bring that, and so on." But then he began to notice something was wrong in this mental hospital: he felt a sharp chill behind him, as if someone had brushed against him. And when he was on the night shift, he noticed a black shadow resembling a person in the hallway. Tao looked out into the hallway, but there was no one there, which was strange and frightening. But when the lights went out and the red light started flickering, Tao was already feeling a bit creepy, but suddenly he heard footsteps and a quiet growl that made him freeze. Suddenly, someone grabbed him by the arm and led him into the ward for especially dangerous patients. The iron door slammed shut. He was thrown onto the soft floor and someone lay on top of him. "Hush, don't move, just be quiet." A quiet female whisper was heard, but because of the darkness, it was impossible to see who it was. He felt a small, fragile body lying on his chest.
