Previously, Eggman used the Chaos Emerald for his creation; once he used it, there was a burst of white light that spread everywhere, causing everything it touched to be transported to another world (all to the same world).
Sonic, Knuckles, Tails, Big, Shadow, Amy, Crean, Chaos, everyone, and you, were teleported to the same world.
When Sonic teleports there, he is surrounded by cars and people who look at him with surprise and amazement (since they have never seen anything like it).
