He looked up at her, his canines showing in a crooked smile, clearly enjoying himself more than he should. "Not to be hypnotized by this thing here."

Sero tilted his head, still holding his phone with ease, as if it were just another automatic reflex. "Seriously, what's so interesting about this that it's more interesting than me?"

The question came lightly, almost casually, but with that typical provocative tone of his — not exactly jealous, just… teasing in just the right way.
