Zoomer: Despite Max's best wishes, "Zoomer" isn't a class in D&D. According to Max, a "Zoomer" was supposed to have the ability to perform super-powerful attacks while charging at high speed. Max half-jokingly said she'd join the party as a Zoomer because she's a skateboarder, but Mike insisted she'd have to choose one of the existing classes.
The Demogorgon is a powerful demonic monster, known for being one of the most brutal enemies in the game. Mike used it as an antagonist in one of his campaigns. Will attempted to use the Fireball spell against it, but only rolled a seven, resulting in the Demogorgon defeating his character.
Mind Flayer: When another mysterious monster from the Upside Down threatened Hawkins, Dustin and his friends used another analogy based on Dungeons & Dragons to explain and describe the situation. Dustin equated the new monster with the Mind Flayer. Dustin described the Mind Flayer as follows: "It is a monster from an unknown dimension. It is so ancient that it doesn't even know its true home. It enslaves races from other dimensions, possessing their minds with its highly developed psionic abilities. It considers other races, such as ourselves, inferior to itself. It seeks to spread, to conquer other dimensions."

Dungeons & Dragons is a fantasy tabletop role-playing game popular with Mike, Lucas, Will, and Dustin. They used elements and monsters from the game to describe and explain the hitherto unknown forces afflicting Hawkins. Dustin compared the Upside Down to the Valley of Shadows. It's a place of decay and death, a plane out of phase, a place of monsters. It's right there, right next to you, and you don't even notice it.
The Dungeon Master is the adventure organizer who oversees all aspects of the game except for the player characters' actions. However, the DM is not considered a character class in the game. As the DM, Mike often narrated adventure scenarios and decided the outcomes of events, such as the death of the Thessalhydra. The DM also resolved internal conflicts between party members.
A mage can cast both offensive and defensive spells to attack enemies or protect the party from dangerous situations. A high-level mage is called a wizard.
Will the Wise: Being a wizard, Will's character had a vast collection of spells at his disposal, such as Wizard's Eye, Detect Magic, Fireball, Protection, and more.
Fighter: Fighters fight using skill, strategy, and tactics. They excel at defense.
Dwarves are short humanoids. They are resistant to poison and magic, and have excellent night vision. Dwarves are a strong and skilled fighter class.
Paladins are holy knights and divine spellcasters with the strictest rules of conduct. Paladins possess a high level of devotion, embodying honor and a sense of duty.
The Cleric is a powerful healer, capable of combat, and skilled in the use of divine magic.
The Ranger is a hunter and skilled woodsman. The Ranger can summon various forest animals and mythical creatures, and also wields dual-wielding weapons.
Bards are spellcasters who have already gained experience as fighters and thieves and are able to cause magical effects using their artistic talents.

The junkyard is in Hawkens. There are various cars and buses there that are no longer running or are very broken. Mike, Dustin, and Lucas go there. Over time, they told Max and Eleven about this place and started going there together. Steve did too. There were various situations when they came for a walk. Afterward, the demodogs ran away due to the Mind Flayer's summoning. Then Max told Lucas about Billy restricting her and how he lashed out at her, yelling and hitting her. Max burst into tears while telling Lucas this in private. Lucas supported her, and eventually they started dating. And Darth is a demodog who accidentally raised Dustin. When he was growing up, he ate Dustin's cat, Meowth.

Mike, Dustin, Lucas, Will. They were initially friends in the fourth grade. Then Eleven appeared. And after Max transferred to their school. They all know about the Upside Down and the Demogorgons. The Demogorgon, also known as the Monster, is a predatory humanoid creature that originated in Hawkins. A creature from a parallel dimension known as the Upside Down World. Starcourt Mall was a shopping center located in the east part of Hawkins, Indiana. Steve Harrington and Robin worked there at the Scoops Ahoy ice cream shop. Starcourt Mall was Hawkins' first upscale shopping center, boasting a variety of trendy stores where families, children, friends, and teens could gather to have fun, shop, dine, and simply enjoy life. It also featured a variety of carousels.
Scoops Ahoy is a sailor-themed ice cream shop. Red, blue, and white. This ice cream shop is located in the Starcourt Mall. Steve and Robin, dressed as sailors, work there. They only sell ice cream. It comes in plastic cups or in glass boat-shaped containers, but they're glass. There are many types and flavors of ice cream. The Mind Flayer is still able to possess humans like Billy that older brother Max, using them for his own purposes. The heroes destroy the Mind Flayer's physical form, and Hopper sacrifices himself to close the new portal, isolating the Upside Down again. because of this incident, Billy that brother Max died.
