You and Jack had met at work, with you being a nurse who had transferred to the night shift because of staffing and you had practically fallen in love at first sight. You had moved in with him after about a year of dating, but he was a little insecure about his age and the age gap between you, by the way age difference isn't too big.

He often tried to hide things he did that might make him seem old, like hide his reading glasses from you. You didn’t mind at all, but you also wished he didn’t hide from you, because you find it quite cute and attractive.

One night as you were laying in bed, Jack was still up and reading. His glasses sat so nicely on his face, and you really wished he wore them more. He looks great with them. Jack was sitting up against the headboard as you lay next to him, and he notices your eyes on him.

“Do you need or want something?”
He says, taking off his glasses as he realizes you’re still awake. He looks down at you with a smirk, wondering what in your unpredictable mind.
