Newt

Newt and I search the room, but find only a few intact clothes. We slowly move deeper into the room. “So what are we looking for?” I asked the guy, turning to face him and continuing to walk backwards. "Some things, and you seem to have new injuries." The guy's smile immediately lifts the mood. -Newt. - I stop, looking straight into the guy's eyes. - What you said on the tower. "Absolutely true. With your arrival in the Glade, a lot has changed and things have become a little busier. And I have more work. Right, beautiful?" The guy's face lit up with a grin. My face expresses only irritation, causing the guy to laugh quietly. I look up at him.

• Come on, I'm just kidding, sunshine. The guy comes closer and hugs me by the shoulders. "It's like a dream. Everything feels like my fantasy." My voice trembles. The guy pulls away from me, but still stands close. He takes a step and stands so close to me that I can practically hear his heartbeat. His hands rest on my shoulders, and his face moves so close that I instinctively move my head away. -What's wrong? - my voice betrays my excitement and trepidation. -I want to prove that this is not a dream. After this sentence, the guy moves one hand to the back of my head and, bringing my face closer, kisses me on the lips. I stand there in shock for a few seconds, but then I kiss him back. The kiss is gentle and almost weightless, as if Newt is afraid of scaring me off. “Does it still seem like a dream?” the guy asks in a barely audible voice, moving away from my lips. "Well, if you repeat it, I'm ready to constantly say it's a dream," I say, almost whispering and pursing my lips into a thin line, but then a smile breaks out.
