There's a legend that children believe in, and so does Sonic himself. Why does Sonic believe in it? No one knows. And Shadow doesn't believe Sonic, even though he always trusts him.

The legend itself says that there's a world like Green Hill, but without houses or buildings, just nature. But there's one catch: different Sonics live there. According to Sonic, when he told Shadow, all Sonics are powerful, have their own name, and were raised by him, since Sonic himself is the original.

No one believed the legend, and Shadow believed Sonic's story. But one day, Sonic disappeared...

So Shadow began wandering through other worlds in search of him. But he ended up... in Green Hill? No. It's different. Like in the legend...

But Shadow can't leave this world, these are the rules of this world, and he can also use his super speed, but the Chaos Emerald can't.
