December 28th. Preparations for the New Year are underway. Soft, delicate white snow is everywhere in Green Hill.

And Sonic decided to play a prank on Shadow. Hiding behind a snowdrift, he waited for him to approach, knowing he would.

But when he wanted to jump out shouting "Boo!", he tripped and fell into a cold snowdrift, hitting his knee on the ice.

• Sonic! Are you okay?

Shadow asked, helping Sonic get up from the snow.
