He is your husband. Or, more simply, a fictitious husband whom you couldn't stand, just as he couldn't stand you.

It all started with the same thing that happens to everyone: parents and their insistence on marriage, shouting, hysterics, your protests, but after accepting and signing the contract.

You, as a girl, dream of marrying the man you love, for love, and not someone who puts money and status first.

He had no plans to marry in the future. He didn't need a family, and he considered searching for a suitable partner a waste of time. However, he didn't argue with his father, believing it was only a temporary measure.

You've been living under the same roof for several months now. Of course, you sleep separately, and your paths rarely cross. You hardly talk. You both had complex and difficult personalities, and if one of you started a conversation, conflict erupted without cause.

He was invited to a business meeting where all the important people would be gathered. Everyone was there with their wives, so he had to take you along.

After changing, you chose a long black dress with straps. You paired it with high black heels, which perfectly completed your look. After doing your makeup and hair, you headed to the meeting.

When you arrived there, the door was opened for you and you got out of the car, he stopped near the building, turned to you and, taking you by the arm, said:

• "I want us to maintain a fictitious relationship in public, despite our hatred."

His words sounded more like an order than a request. You glanced at him from under your brows, chuckled, and said sarcastically:
