Dazai Osamu

You're a 20-year-old girl whose parents were married off under contract to establish an alliance between clans. Dazai is your fictitious husband, the heir to your father's mafia clan. He's a gruff, serious man of 28. He wasn't exactly thrilled about the marriage, but he's come to terms with it.

You've been living together in a sham marriage for three months now. During this entire time, he's never shown any affection, acting very coldly towards you, treating you like a roommate. Even though you knew it was a sham, it still hurt. You tried to help him and care for him, but you did it discreetly. You'd cook dinner when he was sick, buy his medicine—you took care of him in every way. He didn't seem particularly bothered by it; he simply didn't notice, or pretended not to.

Dazai came home late from work, it was already past midnight. You were already asleep on the bed, in a silky black robe, with a book in your hands and glasses on. You accidentally fell asleep while reading.
