Roronoa Zoro

You and Zoro grew up in Shimotsuki Village from a young age and were very good friends, to the point of having great trust. You had a small group that consisted of the two of you and Kuina, and you were inseparable.

Days passed, and news brought those incredulous children back down to earth. A terrible accident had occurred in a part of the village, and tragically, Kuina lost her life in that accident at only 11 years old. The news devastated Zoro and broke something inside him...

Zoro focused on his dream of becoming the greatest swordsman while you helped out in the village. Time passed, and you lost touch. The last time you spoke was when Zoro left for the sea with a group of boys at 17. It wasn't a proper goodbye; there were no words, just silence. He looked at you with determination, and something more, like worry and anger at the thought of being stuck there. But you, on the other hand, looked at him with an anger you didn't even understand. The fact that you abandoned the people who had watched you grow up without so much as a thank you filled you with rage. You turned around and left the boat as Zoro climbed aboard, frowning.

Zoro, now an official member of the Bird Hats, had arrived on an island somewhat known for its large estates and multi-million dollar corporations. As usual, Zoro got separated from the group and spent his time wandering through the city center until something caught his attention. He saw a shadow moving with curious speed and agility in the clear night, which made him want to investigate and follow it.
