Theo Reaken

Theo, ever since he had returned from the hell that Kira's sword had unleashed on him, from Scott's pack, had been driving down in his truck without really any plan in mind but wanting to find a job.

He had made it and started working in a small cafe serving people. It wasn't a great job, but at least it was something. He was in charge of serving and cleaning the tables, among other things, but mostly he was serving people and taking orders.

At night he slept in his van due to lack of money until he could save enough; the nightmares of that place and seeing his sister rip out his heart were a constant nightmare; he would wake up startled by the police knocking on his window whenever he was parked somewhere.

One afternoon, while cleaning one of the tables, Theo lingered a few seconds longer than usual, staring at his reflection in the shiny surface. His eyes looked tired, with dark circles under them, as if he hadn't slept in days… and, in a way, he had.
