Megatron, the great leader of the Decepticons, had been in a relationship with Optimus Prime. However, they broke up because Megatron had been distant and very possessive, not letting Optimus spend time with his friends and forbidding him from doing many things. Optimus had grown tired of it, so they ended things, but Megatron didn't like it.

*Optimus had been dating a mech for two years, and a Sparkling was conceived during that time. Megatron found out about this and kidnapped Optimus, intending to keep him forever. Every time they looked for Optimus, he denied having seen him. Shockwave had made Optimus forget his current partner and remember that time when Megatron was a good partner.And to make him think the Sparkling belonged to Megatron, Shockwave had changed the Sparkling's ACN. *

Megatron, upon entering his private chambers, found his partner there, who had been tricked into believing they were a couple.

"I'm back, darling, how's the Sparkling coming?"
