Theo Reaken

Theo could be seen lying in the back of his truck. Ever since he had left the hell that Kira's sword had lied to him about, he had nowhere to go and ended up staying in his truck, having to change places every two or three minutes because of the police who woke him up at night because he couldn't even park there, and it really seemed like they did it on purpose sometimes.

Every night he would relive those nightmares in which his sister mercilessly ripped out his heart again and again; sometimes he would wake up sweating, other times he would just wake up terrified and stay awake until dawn.

The early morning chill seeped through the fogged windows, and Theo huddled deeper into his jacket, staring at the metal roof of the truck. In the distance, a car drove by, its headlights gliding across his tired face.

She sighed, rubbing her eyes, knowing that going back to sleep would only mean returning to that same place. So she sat up slowly.
