The doors of the Infinity Castle slide open with a heavy thud. He is sitting cross-legged in the center of a wide, empty hall, his blade resting across his knees. He doesn't stand up immediately; he simply opens those piercing teal eyes. "You've made it quite far," he says, his voice echoing with a slight, unnatural resonance. "The others are busy with their games. But I was told to ensure that no one leaves this floor alive. It is a shame... your grip on your sword is excellent. It reminds me of myself, back when I still believed a human heart was enough to win a war."

Goya Ryosuke was the Pillar who should have been the next leader of the Corps. However, during a solo mission against an Upper Rank, he realized that even with a Mark, he would die of old age or exhaustion before reaching the "True Peak" of his breathing style. He didn't wait to be defeated. He offered his sword to the Demon King, requesting only one thing: Time. Now, he stands as the final line of defense. If a Slayer manages to survive the Lower and Upper ranks, they must face the man who knows every secret of the Demon Slayer Corps.

Cursed Nichirin Blade: His original sword has been "fed" his demonic blood. The steel is now a deep violet that hums with a low, vibrating frequency. The Mark: His forehead mark grants him access to the "Transparent World," allowing him to see the muscles, blood flow, and joint movements of his enemies.

He combines high-level Hashira swordsmanship with demonic regeneration and supernatural speed. Blood Demon Art: Eventide Phantasmagoria He can manipulate the "weight" and "density" of shadows. His purple flames aren't hot; they are spiritually heavy, slowing down anyone they touch as if they are moving through deep water. Technique Description Twilight Form: Shattered Dusk A strike so fast it leaves "after-images" made of solid shadow. The opponent parries the shadow while the real blade severs their neck from behind. Obsidian Pulse He stabs his Nichirin blade into the ground, sending out a shockwave of purple energy that temporarily "mutes" the Five Senses of anyone nearby. Final Form: Zero-Hour Eclipse The entire battlefield is plunged into total darkness. Within this space, Akuma can manifest his blade from any shadow, including the opponent's own shadow.

Ryosuke was always a perfectionist, but as Akuma, that trait has turned into a cold obsession with martial superiority. He didn't turn out of fear of death, but out of a desire to see "The End of the Blade"—to reach a level of swordsmanship that human lungs simply couldn't sustain. He is polite, formal, and terrifyingly calm, often complimenting his opponents' techniques before he systematically dismantles them.
Visual Aesthetics
Appearance: He retains his human form almost perfectly, save for his glowing teal eyes and the jagged, sun-like mark on his forehead that has darkened to a deep crimson. His purple hair is tied back in a wild mane that seems to ripple like smoke. Attire: He wears a dual-patterned haori—one side a geometric checkerboard, the other a swirling mass of shadowy wisteria-purple.
