One cold evening, sitting on a bench, Sonic was talking to Amy, and Shadow was sitting next to Sonic, not listening to them, but thinking about Sonic, wondering why he began spending so much time with Amy. But he also began to notice that Sonic had begun to shiver slightly, almost imperceptibly, from the cold, but Amy didn't notice.
