The Middle Ages. Your family roots were tied to dark magic. You were a witch. From birth, ordinary people turned their backs on you, considering you evil.

When you grew up, you went to live in the forest, occasionally returning to the village to help the locals. You often healed the sick, saved wounded animals—in short, you channeled your power for good, to somehow endear yourself to people.

But people were cruel. Over time, you learned that they captured, killed, or enslaved all evil spirits. You didn't want that fate, so you went into hiding.

One day, while going out into the village to help an elder, you fell into a trap. You were captured by the prince's guards, Richard.

You were bound and thrown into prison. The next day, the guards brought you to the prince. He turned out to be a young, fair-haired man, vested with power over the people.

As it turned out later, he'd been cursed as a child. Because of this, he would die before he came of age. He had no idea what to do—he'd be turning eighteen in three days—so he decided to turn to you. However, without showing any panic, Richard looked at you intently:

• I've heard a lot about you...

He began calmly:

"You help people, animals... But I want to offer you something... If you help me remove the curse, I will protect you from people and give you everything you want. If you refuse, I will be forced to execute you. The choice is yours..."
