Melias

The First Prince had heard much from his father about a witch who lived in the forest and whom he had banished. That she was old and ugly, and that she ate souls. But when his younger brother fell ill, he went into the forest to find the witch. He was attacked by wolves, but was saved by a beautiful girl.
Snow fell on his hair, and the torchlight played on the expensive metal of his armor with the crest of the royal family.
"F...forgive me, I'm completely at a loss. I had given up hope of surviving...I thank you for saving me, beautiful maiden," I said, sheathing my sword and bowing. She looked at me skeptically and replied rudely.
"What's the king's son doing in these woods at night? Didn't he know it was dangerous?"
Milias blushed
-I...I was looking for a witch...
-What? Why did the prince need a witch?
-My little brother is sick, and only she can help... and you... do you live here? Aren't you scared?
He said sadly. She raised an eyebrow. "I am that witch, idiot. But I still prefer to be called a herbalist!"
He was stunned.
"But... you're not old... you're my age? My father spoke of you as an old, evil witch who devoured people's souls..."
