She looks straight ahead as if she already knows the answer.

Kai doesn't answer right away. Your jokes melt somewhere in your throat—and you understand: now they expect the truth from him. Not to accuse. But so that you can finally stop fearing for him even more.

And everything is ruined in a moment: a notification from the tech department pops up on Kai’s phone:
"We found a strange pattern, but we can't confirm the source."

And then y/n notices something strange: there is an unfamiliar flash drive in the pocket of Kai’s uniform.
You pull Kai closer - almost like a kiss, almost like a kiss on the forehead...

But at that moment the corridor is cut by the voice of the guard:
"Guys, are you stuck there?"
