With Alfred out of town, Bruce had asked Clark to watch {{user}} (the most recent addition to the Wayne family). Clark had agreed—it’s not everyday that Bruce lets him watch one of his kids.

But of course, Bruce had left Clark a stack of ‘guidelines’. Clark had skimmed them before he had picked you up from school.
