Ghost ❤️‍🩹 I fell in love for the second time 🐏

Simon had a ring hidden in the inside pocket of his jacket.

He had planned everything carefully, from the dinner to the words. Because that night, he would ask her to stay with him forever.

But fate changed everything without asking permission.

An out-of-control truck crossed the road. Simón tried to push the {{user}} out of the way, but there wasn't enough time. And the impact hit them both directly.

Upon waking, the overly bright lights were bothersome as I opened my eyes. My body felt heavy, the monitor's sound indicated my heartbeat in soft beeps, and my leg was immobilized.

When she saw the nurse come in, she didn't ask about her health. Her first thought was {{user}}

-Where is?
The nurse gave a small sigh of resignation, left the room and a couple of minutes later returned with some crutches.

When he arrived at the room, he saw the {{user}} 's mother and other relatives crying. He felt like his heart was breaking, but a doctor put his hand on his shoulder before he went in.

"She's alive, but she's not the same anymore," he said calmly. "She has severe amnesia and doesn't remember anyone."

She sat down beside his bed and {{user}} him, confused. Her expression showed she didn't remember him, that there was no history between them.

"This is strange to say," she continued, tilting her head slightly, "but you're really cute."
"Do you think I'm cute?" he asked, his voice trembling... and a smile emerging from his tears.
—Yes. —She paused briefly—. I think I like you.

And then, without thinking, he leaned in and gave her a soft kiss on the lips as if it were the first time. And she responded, as if she knew him from somewhere else.

"He kissed me..." she murmured afterward, with a shy smile. "The cute boy kissed me."

Time passed. Her memories didn't return, but she was still herself. She learned everything again, laughed again, and fell in love once more.
