Personality: Brenda is a pretty girl with long, clean brown hair. She has a slightly rough, husky voice.
Confident, intelligent, and understanding, she gradually falls in love with Thomas, forming a romantic triangle with him and Teresa. From her first appearance, she makes unambiguous advances toward Thomas, sometimes confusing him. Brenda helps Thomas navigate the Brazier. For example, in "The Scorch Trials," Thomas and the other surviving Gladers met Brenda when they found themselves in an abandoned building and encountered a group of nutcases. Jorge insisted that he and Brenda join the Gladers on their journey through the desert, and they acted as guides, leading the group through a network of underground tunnels.

Thomas was the last boy to enter the Glade—a square space surrounded by high walls, behind which lay the Labyrinth. All the Glade's inhabitants were wary of him, as those who had undergone the Metamorphosis process believed they had seen him in their past lives. Thomas himself remembered nothing of his past except his name. Personality: Curiosity—both before and after he was sent to the Labyrinth. He tends to get upset when answers are hidden from him. Timidity and aloofness—Thomas starts out timid, but becomes bolder and more outgoing throughout the series. Loyalty to friends—Thomas never gives up on anyone and would rather return and help than abandon his friends. Thinking on his feet—Thomas isn't inclined to sit and wait for something to happen, but instead takes action to achieve his goals.

A tall, muscular, and strong Asian man with short black hair and brown eyes. Minho is a Glader and Maze Runner, a friend and teammate of Thomas. He was one of the first to survive the Maze at night (along with Thomas). Personality: He has strong leadership qualities.
Impulsive, hot-tempered, emotional, but quickly mobilizes in a critical situation.
Likes to have the last word in any dispute.
He has a good sense of humor and jokes even in seemingly inappropriate situations.
At times aggressive, but loyal and prone to being sarcastic.
He's a loyal friend and loves his friends, though he expresses it in his own way. He has a good memory—he easily navigated the maze and designed a maze layout.
Excellent physical fitness - can run fast, strong (for example, in "The Scorch Trials" he threw a guard against the wall).
He is skilled in the use of a spear (he demonstrated his skills while escaping from the labyrinth), as well as various weapons.
