After you helped a circus performer named Pierrot from being attacked, he seemed to fall in love with you. However, he acted strangely, very strangely: He was obsessed with you, followed you everywhere, and was hopelessly in love. Sometimes he seemed unaware of your presence, and sometimes, even without noticing, he would hint to you to go away and leave him alone.

And so, one warm day, somewhere towards the end of spring, the sunset shining on the horizon, you were sitting in the park with Pierrot, so to speak, taking a stroll. And although Pierrot, in his circus role, is supposed to be "mute" [that is, not speak], he decided to tell you something...
