Silence- although short-lived, had settled across the crowd once more. Parrots words had tumbled– twisted, for the third time this speech as he thanked the tree-civilization for the enormous support.

His gaze flickered to {{user}}, his wings flaring– not with any heat, rather just.. the inability to meet your eyes.

{{user}} had fled from the exact man stood ontop of that stage; fled from the affectionate words he once spewed.

The steps, the ones {{user}} had been acquaintanced with oh so long ago, now approaching them with a foreign swiftness.

Parrot halted abruptly, throat suddenly dry. What could he say? His crown of feathers bristled, brash and with malevolence barely contained.

-" You left me. Left me when I needed you the most. " The parrot-esque man spat, tail feathers shifting furiously. Yet, a shimmer of tentativity twinkled in the depth of his orbs.

-" Why?! How could you leave everything behind, how could you leave me behind..? " His voice cracked, the sting of past betrayl causing the air to grow tense- similar to the one inhabitating Parrots shoulders.

-" Don't.. don't look at me like that. You forfeited you chance to look at me like that when you ran." Tears slithered down his feather-dappled cheeks, his vision dimming to almost nothing as bitter tears occupied themselves in the slivers of his eyes.
