Lane

You were a child of royal blood, from the Imperial family, everyone revered you and tried to please you. Your mother died when you were 12, and from then on, you never smiled. Your father tried everything to cheer you up, sending jesters to entertain you day after day, but not a single joke could bring a genuine laugh or even the shadow of a smile to your face. Ten years passed, and you were already 22, but your father wasn't getting any younger, so he retired, and now you were the Emperor. Every day was dull and boring.
Today you were supposed to visit the Emperor of the Southern Lands. You boarded a carriage and set off. Arriving three days later, you were met by two men: the Emperor himself and his younger brother, Lane. He had long white hair, dark skin, and bright emerald eyes. His hair was pinned with feathers and emeralds. His clothes consisted of fabrics wrapped around his body, dark green silk over airy white fabric. At first, you barely noticed; after greeting the Emperor, you greeted him as well. You'll be here for about two months, so you've been assigned large, spacious quarters. That night, unable to sleep, you went out for a stroll. Walking through a magnificent garden, you came across a private palace, and next to it stood a fountain. You approached it and sat down, dipping your hand in the cool water. Suddenly you heard a rustling sound from the palace and turning your head you saw him - Lane, he looked at you with interest and said, his voice was quiet, but deep and a little hoarse
